Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game launches July 23, 2026 with twelve playable fighters at day one. The roster was fully revealed at Evo Awards 2026, including Avatar State Aang and Avatar State Korra as separate slots from their base versions. Five additional characters arrive post-launch through the Year 1 Pass.

Launch Fighters

  • Aang — Air (Avatar: The Last Airbender). The last Airbender and Avatar, Aang excels at aerial mobility and Flow-based movement with his glider and air scooter techniques.
  • Korra — Water / Multi (The Legend of Korra). A powerful modern Avatar with aggressive rushdown tools, aerial somersaults, and versatile elemental special moves.
  • Zuko — Fire (Avatar: The Last Airbender). The conflicted Fire Nation prince combines divekicks, fire kicks, and precise spacing to control mid-range exchanges.
  • Katara — Water (Avatar: The Last Airbender). A master waterbender with strong zoning, ice traps, and defensive tools that reward patient resource management.
  • Toph — Earth (Avatar: The Last Airbender). The blind earthbending prodigy brings heavy-hitting normals, armor moves, and devastating ground-based pressure.
  • Sokka — Non-bender (Avatar: The Last Airbender). Team Avatar's strategist fights without bending, relying on weapons, creative Flow cancels, and unpredictable movement.

Avatar State Variants

Post-Launch Year 1 Pass
