Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game Chakra Arts & Super Moves
Complete Chakra Arts guide for Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game covering Chakra stocks, EX moves, True Chakra Arts, and super activation.
Chakra Arts represent the offensive meter system in Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, rewarding aggressive play with enhanced special moves and devastating supers. Where Chi powers defense through the Flow System, Chakra fuels your most powerful attacks. Understanding Chakra generation, spending, and the lethal True Chakra Art finishers is essential for closing out rounds decisively.
Building Chakra Stocks
Every successful hit generates Chakra. Light attacks build slowly but safely, Medium attacks provide balanced generation, and Heavy attacks yield the most Chakra per hit at the cost of speed and recovery. Combo strings multiply Chakra gain—landing a full combo generates more Chakra than individual pokes. Whiffed attacks build nothing, so Chakra rewards accuracy and commitment. Characters like Toph with armored Heavy normals excel at Chakra generation through sustained pressure.
EX Move System
EX moves consume one Chakra stock to supercharge a special move. EX versions typically feature increased damage, added hitstun for combo extension, invincibility frames, or multi-hit properties. For example, an EX fire kick from Zuko might gain armor and wall bounce, while EX water whip from Katara creates an extended ice trap. Study each character's EX variants in Training Mode command lists.
Super Arts and True Chakra Arts
Activate supers with the Super input (A+B+C) when your Chakra meter is full. Each character has a unique cinematic super reflecting their bending style—Aang's tornado super, Katara's ice prison, Azula's lightning storm. True Chakra Arts are enhanced supers available against Unbalanced opponents that end the round instantly regardless of remaining health. This makes Unbalanced punishment the highest-damage scenario in the game.
Chakra Spending Strategy
Novice players hoard Chakra for supers, missing EX opportunities mid-combo. Advanced players spend Chakra fluidly—using EX moves to extend combos, escape pressure, or confirm kills at specific health thresholds. Save full Chakra for round-ending supers when your opponent is near the wall or low on health. Watch the Chakra guide for official tutorial footage demonstrating EX and super timing.
Support and Chakra Interactions
Certain support characters modify Chakra generation or super properties. Supports like Raava for Korra may enhance Avatar-state supers, while others provide passive Chakra bonuses. Check individual character pages and the support tier list for optimal Chakra-focused loadouts at launch.
